Google’s Visual Search
In early December, 2009 Google announced its new search feature at Computer History Museum, California. In this Search feature Google announced an innovative idea:
“Users can now search information by just taking picture with mobile phones or spoken words instead of typing keywords.”
This feature includes finding places by clicking “Near Me Now” tab in your iPhone or Android browser through Google.com. Once your location gets captured by Google it gives you all near by location of your preferred search term. This Service is currently available in US for the iPhone (OS 3.X) or Android-powered devices with version 2.0.1 or later.
